BEYOND BOUNDARIES - Escondido Arts Partnership
Carol Spong’s paintings “Jesus Came to Teach Us Love But Instead We Got Religion” will be in a juried show that will be held in the Escondido Arts Partnership, 262 East Grand Avenue Escondido, California, November 8-December 5, 2025. The show is titled Beyond Boundaries and the triptych was accepted as one of 40 pieces accepted for the show.

San Diego artist, Carol Spong’s triptych entitled “Jesus Came to Teach Us Love, but Instead We Got Religion ©” (formerly titled “The God Damned Catholic church”) was shown December 3-7, 2024 in the EXPOSURE show at Ceres Gallery, 547 W. 27th St., Suite 201, New York, NY. Opening Reception Dec. 5 6-8 PM.
Spong was at the gallery Dec. 3, 12-6pm and Dec. 5 6-8 pm.

The show was amazing. The gallery director was a wonderfully supportive woman and the reception was very well attended with lots of people engaging with the pieces. It was an experience that I’m still wondering why I wasn’t a nervous wreck about. Loved being with my grandson and his girlfriend.
